I found the hotel to have a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a good size with a large shower unit but suffered from minor defects that affected my sleep. The presence of roaming cats after food was also a bit off-putting. On the bright side, the service was brilliant and very friendly, making up for some of the room issues.

The hotel had a bit of a rocky start with our room not being ready on time which was frustrating after an early check-in request. However, the rooms were quite nice, especially with the separate living area and garden. The food selection for breakfast and lunch was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices. The service was a bit hit or miss with some staff members being very pleasant and helpful while others seemed quite rude. The location was lovely but may not suit all British travelers' tastes. The dining experience fell short for some, lacking variety for certain preferences. Despite some disappointments, there were nice views from the hotel, and the overall stay had its ups and downs.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, perfect for relaxation by the pool with a lovely view.
